Our approach

Longevity begins with your kidneys.

Kidney health rarely announces itself, yet it shapes your energy, your resilience, and how well you age. We practice forward-looking nephrology: catching what matters early, protecting function for the decades ahead, and bringing state-of-the-art testing and today's best treatments to bear, with the time to do it well.

Our story

The practice we believe in.

As nephrologists, we spent years watching good kidney care get compressed into rushed visits and long waits, the opposite of what anyone facing their kidney health deserves.

So we built something different: a practice that is small by design, unhurried, and personal. Your physician knows your history, answers when you reach out, and has the time to look ahead rather than simply react.

Fewer patients. More attention. Care built to last as long as you do.

Membership

A time-tested model of care.

Kidney Vitalium Partners implements a care model with more than a century of history, often referred to as executive, corporate, or concierge health: annual comprehensive and unlimited follow-up diagnostic exams, supported with a year-long communication connection to your healthcare professional to optimize your kidney health.

Independent by design

Our program operates outside insurance reimbursement, so your care is never shaped by plan-based time, frequency, or necessity requirements. We take all the time we think is needed.

Why this model leads to better kidney health

Dependence on healthcare-insurance reimbursement limits the time, frequency, and scope of care and demands proven medical necessity, which undermines prevention, mitigation, and education. Our program is disconnected from those restrictions, using a time-tested care model to get ahead of health challenges and manage them more effectively. Membership is a transparent, stable annual fee, payable monthly or annually.

Our program services are 100% outside of, and go beyond, what plans cover or reimburse. While membership fees cannot be submitted to plans for reimbursement, our program structure renders patient fees qualified medical expenses, enabling the use of tax-advantaged funds such as self-employed, employer, HSA, HRA, or FSA funding. Check with your plan administrator and/or tax expert for specific guidance on your options.

Questions

Helpful to know.

No. We welcome both physician referrals and patients reaching out on their own behalf. When you request a consultation, you can simply tell us which applies.

We focus on kidney health across its full arc, from prevention and early changes to the ongoing management of chronic kidney conditions, along with the closely related cardiovascular and metabolic factors that influence it. Specifics are best discussed during an introductory conversation.

New members are typically welcomed without the long waits common elsewhere. We'll confirm timing during your consultation.
